ڤيتوست سي آى 552 غراء بلاط اسمنتي بسمك عميق غير قابل للهبوط
Vetoset CA552 is a thick-bed, polymer-modified, semi-flexible cementitious tile adhesive. It is slump-free and suitable for installing all types of floor tiles and slabs, from small to large formats.
The product is compatible with concrete and gravel substrates and is an ideal solution for replacing traditional screeds prior to tiling, functioning as a 2-in-1 screed and adhesive. It is composed of an inorganic blend of binders and aggregates, enhanced with special additives to provide a slump-free effect and high adhesion under all conditions, at application thicknesses ranging from 20 mm to 60 mm.
Vetoset CA552 is suitable for both internal and external applications and is ideal for use in wet areas.
Uses
- Laying tiles with irregular backing to cementitious horizontal substrates (floors).
- Laying tiles on irregular substrates.
- Laying large and heavy tiles (such as natural stone) over a variety of substrate conditions.
- For granite, marble, and artificial stone flooring.
Advantages
- Good workability.
- Very thick bed applications 20mm - 60 mm.
- Used internally and externally.
- High bond strength.
- Suitable for use with underfloor heating systems.
- Ideal for wet areas.
- Time-saving 2-in-1 solution that replaces traditional screeds before tiling.
Usage Instructions
The substrate should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt, curing compounds, or any other substance that might impair the bond’s quality with the substrate.
For non-screeded substrates, ensure that the base layer (sand and gravel) is thoroughly compacted to provide a strong, firm surface capable of receiving the adhesive.
Pre-wet the substrate with clean, potable water to neutralize its suction capacity, ensuring that no excess water is present at the time of application.
To prepare mortar adhesive, pour 9 - 12 liter of water (for each 50-Kg bag of Vetoset CA552 into a container.
Start with the lowest recommended water in a clean suitable bucket for 50 kg bag, use drill mortar mixer with suitable mixing paddle, add the powder while mixing until a uniform lump free heavy sticky mix achieved, if more water required add the rest recommended slowly while mixing.
leave the mix to mature for 5 - 10 minutes then remix again without any further addition of water.
it is highly recommended to prepare two consistency mix , one with the lower water ratio for building the needed hight or thickness of the adhesive and the second with the maximum water ratio for the tile back buttering.
Apply a generous quantity of adhesive onto the neutralized substrate and screed it to the required thickness using an aluminum straightedge. Comb the adhesive with a 10–12 mm notched trowel, then apply a thin layer of adhesive (up to 10 mm) to the back of the tile using the flat edge of the trowel.
Fix the tile into position and press firmly to ensure full adhesive contact between the tile back and the combed adhesive layer. The use of a tile vibrator is recommended.
Always work in manageable areas to ensure that tiles can be installed and adjusted within 10 minutes of adhesive application.
Allow the tiles to remain undisturbed for 24 to 48 hours before grouting and allowing light traffic.
Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use. Remove hardened material mechanically.
