Interior Anti-carbonation Acrylic Coating System

An anti-carbonation acrylic system comprising a single-component penetrating primer and a single-component elastomeric pigmented coating, both supplied ready for immediate site application.

The system is based on a high-performance acrylic polymer and forms a durable, water-based elastomeric protective coating. It provides excellent elongation and crack-bridging capability, superior recovery properties, and long-term resistance to carbonation and aggressive environmental exposure.

Available in a wide range of colors.

Uses

  • To protect atmospherically exposed reinforced concrete structures from attack by acid gases, chloride ions, oxygen and water, where there is a danger of subsequent cracks appearing within the substrate.
  • Suitable to protect all types of structures, cementitious substrates, masonry and aggressive marine and coastal environments.
  • Protection against exhaust fumes - Carparks.

Advantages

  • True elastomeric coating with excellent elongation and recovery properties which are maintained at sub-zero temperatures.
  • Excellent barrier to carbon dioxide, chloride ions, oxygen and water.
  • Water-based.
  • Available in a range of standard colors.
