Vetoseal AX774

The substrate must be structurally sound, clean, dry, and free from contaminants such as grease, laitance, dust, oil, or any loose particles that may affect adhesion. 

Any surface irregularities should be repaired before application. For best results, ensure the concrete has fully cured and reached a moisture content below 5%. Avoid application on damp or unstable substrates.

Vetoseal AX774 is supplied as a single-component product ready for on-site use. To ensure uniform consistency before application, inspect the material for any settlement or separation. Stir the product thoroughly using a mechanical stirrer or hand mixer for consistent product dispersion, if necessary.

Vetoseal AX774 can be applied using a brush, roller, or spray equipment. Apply the sealer in thin, even coats to ensure uniform coverage. Care should be taken to avoid overloading the roller, as excess product can lead to buildup and streaking. Apply the coat using a wet-on-wet technique to minimize roller marks and inconsistencies. Work in controlled sections to ensure a seamless finish, avoiding overlaps on partially dried areas that may cause visible imperfections. 

For enhanced protection and appearance, multiple coats are recommended, allowing sufficient drying time between each coat.

Vetoseal AX774 dries to the touch in less than one hour at 21°C and 50% relative humidity. Full cure is achieved through solvent evaporation, forming a hard, durable film. Depending on ambient temperature and humidity, complete curing may require up to 48 – 72 hours. During this period, the surface should be protected from excessive moisture and heavy traffic.

Remove Vetoseal AX774 product from tools, equipment, and mixers using Vetonit Solvent XX400. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
