Vetoseal UC773

High performance, single-component, water-based, liquid applied polyurethane waterproofing sealer.

Vetoseal UC773 is a high-performance, single-component, water-based, liquid applied polyurethane waterproofing sealer designed to protect and enhance concrete and cementitious surfaces. Engineered with advanced resin technology, it forms a strong, non-yellowing protective layer that resists abrasion, stains, and chemicals while preserving the natural mineral appearance of the substrate. Its fast-drying formula allows for efficient application, making it ideal for both new installations and renovation projects. 

With superior adhesion and mechanical resistance, Vetoseal UC773 is suitable for high-traffic environments, decorative concrete, and both interior and exterior applications. Its water-based formula minimizes VOC emissions, ensuring environmental standards compliance.

Usage Instructions

The substrate must be structurally sound, clean, dry, and free from contaminants such as grease, laitance, dust, oil, or any loose particles that may affect adhesion. 

Any surface irregularities should be repaired before application. For best results, ensure the concrete has fully cured and reached a moisture content below 5%. Avoid application on damp or unstable substrates.

Vetoseal UC773 is supplied as a single-component product ready for on-site use. To ensure uniform consistency before application, inspect the material for any settlement or separation. Stir the product thoroughly using a mechanical stirrer or hand mixer for consistent product dispersion, if necessary.

Vetoseal UC791 is applied with a 10mm microfiber roller for smooth, even coverage. Care should be taken to avoid overloading the roller, as excess product can lead to buildup and streaking. The first coat should be applied in thin, uniform layers using a wet-on-wet technique to minimize roller marks and inconsistencies. Work in controlled sections to ensure a seamless finish, avoiding overlaps on partially dried areas that may cause visible imperfections. 

For optimal performance, apply at 100–120 g/m2 per coat to prevent excessive accumulation. Allow the first coat to dry for 3 to 24 hours, depending on temperature and humidity, ensuring the surface is fully dry before applying the second coat. 

Apply the second coat using the same technique, maintaining consistent roller strokes to prevent lap marks or visible seams. Avoid applying on warm substrates or under direct sunlight, as this may cause premature drying and uneven absorption.

Vetoseal UC773 dries to the touch within 2 hours at 20°C, allowing for light handling of the surface. 

Full curing is achieved within 7 days, depending on ambient temperature and humidity levels. During this period, the surface should be protected from excessive moisture and heavy use.

Remove Vetoseal UC773 product from tools, equipment, and mixers with clean water before the initial set. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
