Vetotouch Monocouche
Known previously as “Premix Colour Texture” UV resistant pigmented premixed plaster.
Vetotouch Monocouche is a cement-based plaster coat composed of hydraulic binders, selected aggregates, special pigments, and high-performance additives. It is supplied as a dry powder in pre-weighed bags that are ready to use on-site to produce cohesive mortar (this requires the addition of clean water). Vetotouch Monocouche is a premium product that’s suitable for external marble-chip applications.

Uses
- Internally or externally in wet and dry conditions onto block walls and rough surfaces.
- On concrete surfaces that are smooth and also precast concrete surfaces with scratch coat applied first.
- It can be applied up to 20 mm thickness of the single-layer; however, it is recommended for two coat applications of 10 mm each.
Advantages
- Factory controlled pre-blend ensures consistently high quality.
- Requires only the addition of water on-site at the time of use.
- Uniform color/mass.
- Improved workability and curing.
- Easy application with uniform workflow (this enables high productivity and superior finishing).
- Strong adhesion onto a variety of substrates.
- Shrinkage control reduces surface cracks.
- Suitable for Internal and external applications
- Suitable for vertical and ceiling surfaces.
- Suitable for humid and dry conditions.
Usage Instructions
The substrate should be sound, clean, and free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt, and curing compounds, etc. Before applying, wet the entire surfaces with clean potable water. The surface should look damp at the time of the application.
For manual application, add 9 - 11 liters of water for each 50- kg bag of Vetotouch Monocouche to a mixing container (or 10.5 - 12.5 liters / 50 kg bag for machine application). Add the powder to the water and mix with a mechanical plaster mixer or low-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle for 3 - 4 minutes or until a uniform, lump-free consistency is achieved. Leave the mixed material to stand for 10 minutes then briefly remix without adding water.
Prepare smooth concrete surfaces by applying one of Saveto’s Scratch Coat products (depending on the surface. (For more information on this regard, contact our technical team).
For better adhesion to the substrate, add 0.5 a liter of Vetonit Bond 2 to the mixing water for each 50 Kg bag (or add 1 liter of Vetonit Plastering Bond to the mixing water. Make sure to adhere to the recommended referenced / measured powder quantity), then follow the same mixing procedures as described above. Use the mixed material within 1 hour. Do not add water once the mixed mortar begins to harden.
Apply Vetotouch Monocouche (manual or machine applications are both fine) in a single or double coat system and onto a prepared substrate to achieve the desired thickness of 5 - 20 mm.
Apply the mixed material using a spray machine or a ‘hawk and trowel’ technique. Then rod or screed to achieve a uniform thickness (that does not exceed 20 mm for a single coat or 10 mm for each coat in multiple-layer system.
Press the first layer hard against the surface and allow it to set partially (for 60 - 120 minutes depending on weather). Apply the second layer as described above. (Water spray the surface if the second layer is carried out the next day).
Cure Vetotouch Monocouche by spraying water evenly on the surfaces of applied materials every 12 hrs for a minimum of 3 days. During hot and dry conditions, allow curing for a minimum of 5 - 7 days; it will help obtain high mechanical strength.
To protect the final color look, it is recommended to apply one coat of Saveto Vetoseal product range (contact the technical department for advice).
Clean tools with water before the mortar hardens. After it does, remove any residue mechanically.
