- Suitable for humid and dry conditions.
Usage Instructions
The substrate should be sound, clean, & free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt, and curing compounds, etc. Before applying, wet the entire surfaces with clean potable water. The surface should look damp at the time of the application.
Add 4.5 - 5.5 liters of water for each 25 kg bag of Vetotouch Graviatto to a mixing container. Add the powder to the water and mix with a mechanical plaster mixer or low-speed heavy-duty electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle for 3 - 4 minutes or until a uniform, lumpfree consistency is achieved. Leave the mixed material to stand for 10 minutes then briefly remix without adding water.
For small batch quantities, mix the material manually for approx. 1 - 2 minutes or until you have homogeneous mix.
Note: you can manually apply Vetotouch Graviatto (not by spray machines), but you must add 0.5 - 1.0 liter of Vetobond AB432 to the mixing water and adjust the water requirement accordingly for each 25 kg bag. Follow the same mixing procedure as described above. Use the mixed material within 30 - 60 minutes. Do not add water once the mixed mortar begins to harden.
Using a steel trowel, apply Vetotouch Graviatto in one or two layers (up to 3 mm/coat). Allow the first layer to partially dry before applying a second one (30 - 120 minutes depending on weather conditions).
After the desired number of layers is applied, wait for about 10 - 15 minutes and then use a special plastic trowel to get the groove effects. To protect Vetotouch Graviatto, apply Vetoseal XX772 after three days of curing using a brush or a spray machine.
It is vital to cure the newly applied Vetotouch Graviatto layers with clean potable water 2 times a day for 3 days. During hot and dry conditions, extend the curing period for a minimum of 5 - 7 days, as it will help activate the product’s high physical properties. (An acrylic-based curing compound can also be used).
To protect the final look / color, it is recommended to apply one coat of the Vetoseal product range (contact Saveto’s technical department for information on this regard).
Clean tools with water before the mortar hardens. After it does, remove any residue mechanically
