The substrate should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt curing compound, etc.

Before the Vetotouch Textura application, wet the entire surfaces with clean potable water. The surface should look damp at the time of the Vetotouch Textura application.

For manual application, add to the mixing container 8-10 liters of water for each 50kg bag of Vetotouch Textura or 12 liters / 50kg bag for machine application. Add the powder to the water and mix with a mechanical plaster mixer or low-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle for 3-4 minutes until achieving a uniform, lump-free consistency.

Leave the mixed material to stand for 10min and briefly remix without adding water.

For small batch quantities, mix the material manually for approx. 1-2 min or when achieving a homogeneous mix.

Prepare the surface by using a suitable mechanical key Spatter Dash product range from Saveto. Add 1.5 to 2.0 liter of Vetobond AB432 to the mixing water and adjust the water requirement accordingly for each 50kg bag. Follow the same mixing procedure as described above.

Use the mixed material within 1 hour.

Do not add water once the mixed mortar starts to harden.

Apply Vetotouch Textura on smooth surfaces in a single or two coats by trowel application to achieve the desired thickness of 5-20mm.

Apply the mixed material using the hawk and trowel technique. Rod or screed to uniform thickness, not exceeding 20mm for a single coat or 10mm per coat for multiple layers. Press the first layer tight against the surface.

For the second layer, allow the plaster to partially set (60- 120 min depending on weather). Apply the second layer as described above.

If the second layer is carried out the next day, spray water the surface.

It is vital to cure Vetotouch Textura surface with clean potable water 2 times a day for 3 days. During hot and dry conditions, extend curing period for a minimum of 5-7 days. It will help to obtain high physical properties.

To protect the final color look, it is recommended to apply one coat of Saveto Vetoseal product range (contact the technical department for advice).

Clean all tools employed to apply Vetotouch Textura with water before it hardens; otherwise, mechanical means are needed.
