The substrate should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt curing compound, etc.
Before the Vetotouch Graviatto application, wet the entire surfaces with clean potable water. The surface should look damp at the time of the Vetotouch Graviatto application.
Add to the mixing container 7.5-8.5 liters of water for each 25kg bag of Vetotouch Graviatto. Add the powder to the water and mix with a mechanical plaster mixer or low-speed heavy-duty electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle for 3-4 minutes until achieving a uniform, lump-free consistency. Leave the mixed material to stand for 10min and briefly remix without adding water.
For small batch quantities, mix manually for approx. 1-2min or until achieving a homogeneous mix.
A manual application is considered (not by spray machines), optionally, adding 0.5 to 1.0 liter of Vetobond AB432 to the mixing water and adjusting the water requirement accordingly for each 25kg bag. Follow the same mixing procedure as described above.
Use the mixed material within 30-60 minutes. Do not add water once the mixed mortar starts to harden.
Apply Vetotouch Graviatto in one or two layers up to 3mm/ coat. Allow the first layer to partially dry (30 to 120 minutes depending on weather conditions) before applying the second layer.
After applying the layers using a steel trowel, wait for about 10 - 15 minutes and then use a special plastic trowel to get groove effects. To protect Vetotouch Graviatto, apply Vetoseal XX772 by brush or spray machine after three days of curing.
It is vital to cure Vetotouch Graviatto surface with clean potable water 2 times a day for 3 days. During hot and dry conditions, extend the curing period for a minimum of 5-7 days. It will help to obtain high physical properties. An acrylic-based curing compound can be used.
To protect the final color look, it is recommended to apply one coat of Saveto Vetoseal product range (contact the technical department for advice).
Clean tools with water before the mortar hardens. After the hardening, remove its residuals mechanically only.
