Premium Plus

Polymer modified weather resistant, high quality and multi-use tile adhesive.

Premium Plus is a cementitious mortar adhesive composed of hydraulic binders, selected aggregates, and special additives. It is supplied as a dry powder in pre-weighed bags ready to use on-site; it only requires the addition of clean water to produce easily workable mortar. Premium Plus is suitable for a dry-set fixing mortar. Premium Plus is applied in thickness from 3mm to 10mm, depends on the type of tiles and quality of the substrate.

  • Ceramic tiles, natural stone conglomerates (Granite & Marble, Terrazo), artificial stone, and large format tiles.
  • Tiling on smooth concrete surfaces, lightweight bricks, blocks, plasterboards.

Usage Instructions

The surface should be sound, clean, free from loose material, oil, grease, laitance, dirt, curing compound, etc.

 Wet all surfaces (except gypsum board) with clean water before Vetonit Premium Plus application. The surface should appear damp with no water pooling.

For the mortar adhesive preparation, pour into a container 5.75-6.5 liters of water for each 25Kg bag of Premium Plus.

Add the powder to the water and mix for 3-4 minutes using a low- speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle until achieving a uniform, lump-free consistency. Allow the mixed material to stand for about 10 minutes and remix briefly without adding further water.

Blend Vetonit Premium Plus manually for small quantities and maintain the correct amount of powder to water.

If required, add 0.5 Ltr of Vetobond AB432 to the mixing water, followed by powder’s addition. Use the mixed material within 2 hours.

Do not add water to the mixture once the mortar adhesive starts to harden.

Spread the mixed mortar adhesive, and firmly press it onto the surface that will be tiled; work with a notched trowel. Spread the mortar adhesive to an area that can be tiled within 10-15 minutes. Press the tiles firmly over the mortar adhesive and immediately knock them into the desired position. Adjust the position of the tiles, if required, within its adjustability time of 10-15 minutes after installation.

Allow the installed tiles to remain undisturbed for at least 48 hours. Mortar adhesive must not rise between the tile joints higher than halfway the thickness of the tiles. It is recommended to use Vetonit Tile Grout to fill the joint gaps after 2 days of tile installation.

Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use. Remove the hardened material using mechanical means.
